I'm Shelley, the founder of Journey with GiGi Getaways.
For as long as I can remember, caring for others has been at the heart of who I am. My faith has guided a lifetime of service, from children's ministry and women's Bible studies to seven years in full-time ministry with my husband as house parents at a children's home. I've also spent more than 30 years as a Registered Nurse, helping people navigate life's challenges with compassion and confidence.
At home, I'm blessed to be a wife of 37 years, mom of four adult children, grandmother known as "GiGi," and caregiver for my mother-in-law. Some of my most treasured memories have been made traveling with family across generations, strengthening bonds and creating experiences we'll never forget.
That's what inspired Journey with GiGi Getaways.
I specialize in group travel for adults 55 and older, arranging everything from transportation to trip details and often traveling alongside my guests. My goal is simple: to create meaningful, worry-free travel experiences where people feel supported, cared for, and connected.
